Frequently Asked Questions
How Big is The MAiZE?
The MAiZE is carved into an 8 Acre corn field. Each year, a New Design is created using 3 Different Trails. 2 Larger Mazes, and 1 Childrens Maze. Each maze offers different games and gets increasingly difficult to Navigate.
How long does it take to get through The MAiZE?
Well this, of course, depends on your choices. Plan your visit with us for about 2 Hours. We have broken The MAiZE into two phases, so you have the option of completing one or both parts. Our experience is that most people can expect to be lost in Each Maze for about 30-45 minutes, depending on your skill and patience. Each phase, you have a choice of intereactive games to help guide you toward the exit. Of course, we do have Corn Cops to help you if you are completely corn-fused. So don’t worry, we won’t leave you out there!
For our guests with young ones that prefer to join us for the Family Fun Events, We offer a Family Finger Fortune Maze. It takes approximately 20 minutes and does not require MAiZE admission, just Activity Tickets.
What age is The MAiZE most appropriate for:
One of the great things about The MAiZE is the fact that it offers something that everyone, of all ages, can enjoy. From toddlers, all the way up to grandma and grandpa, our goal is to make sure everyone in your group leaves with memories to cherish. Thus, yes, all ages 3+ do pay admission. View our Age Guage to see which activities are best for each age group
Accessibility:
The MAiZE is on unpaved farm ground. Wheel chairs, strollers and wagons can be brought on premises and are able to complete the corn maze. The ground (like any farm) can be bumpy in spots. The remaider of the event is spread out over grass, dirt and gravel that could be somewhat difficult to push through in some areas.
Restrooms:
There are porta potties on site at The MAiZE, however no indoor restrooms or running water.
Payment:
The MAiZE accepts cash on site. We also have an "ATM" in the Pumpkin Check Out. Deposits for group reservations are not needed.
Pets:
While we love animals, pets are not allowed at The MAiZE with the exception of service dogs. We do have one special day when you can bring fido. See our Special Events Page.
Weather:
The MAiZE is an all outdoor activity and subject to the weather. In the event of rain before Columbus Day, we will be closed to keep the MAiZE Trails from getting too muddy. After Columbus Day we are open rain or shine for those who want to come out for some good ole' fun in the mud! You can always call us at 716-523-3860 to check the trail/weather conditions.
Do you give refunds if it starts to rain?
We do not offer refunds, but if your visit is rained out part way through, we are happy to offer you a "Bounce Back Pass" to come back on a nicer day.
Attire:
Because we are an outdoor event, we recommend being prepared for the weather. We also suggest wearing closed-toe shoes or sneakers. Remember that you will be in a farm atmosphere and should dress appropriately for the best experience.
Busy Times:
Keep in mind that weekends are our busiest times, especially after dark. You may want to plan your arrival between 4-6 p.m. on weekdays or on Saturday & Sunday mornings if you are looking for a smaller crowd.
